I think you have been heard. Which is many people know as it's land of smile. Today, I would like to introduce you about Thailand maps (source of photo :www.mythailand.ch). It is a powertool to discover the former Siam Kingdom also known as Krung Thep .
Thailand can be divided into 4 main geographical regions: the North (green color), the Northeast (purple color), the Central Plains (orange color), and the South (cyan color).

The North, much of the area's territory is mountainous, making it relatively cool compared to central of thailand. Its profusion of multi-coloured orchids.
The Northeast, was officially named as Isan more than 20th century ago. The Mekong forms a large part of the border between Thailand and Laos to the north and east of Isan, while the south of the region borders on Cambodia. The Central Plain, the Chao Phraya River is the main river. It is separated from northeast thailand by the Phetchabun mountain range, and another mountain range separates it from Myanmar to the west. In the north it gently changes into the more hilly northern thailand. The area was the heartland of the Ayutthaya kingdom, and is still the dominant area of thailand. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Thailand). These region has one of the world’s most fertile rice and fruit-growing areas with colourful traditional thai culture.
The South where the unspoiled beaches and idyllic islands complement. (www.mythailand.ch/blog/?page_id=9) Its bounded to the north by Kra Isthmus as the narrowest part of the peninsula.
Southern Thailand has 5 international airports and 6 domestic airports named as follows.
Phuket International Airport (with international service)
Hat Yai International Airport
Krabi International Airport
Koh Samui International Airport (with international service)
